4 Key Points to Branding

Summary: Branding is more than a logo and image or even a recognized name. It’s a person’s collective experience with a company’s product or service. A brand is a person’s overall perception of a company or product built over time. Here are four things you should keep in mind as you build your company’s brand:
1) Own the “Significant Thing”: Dole tried to be all things to all people spend your time focusing on a single clear message. Mercedes-Benz owns “ Engineering “ in the car industry because it’s focused on that singular message for decades.
2)
Consistency is key: consistent presentation will ensure that your customers recognize you. Be consistent in the use of logos, taglines, visual elements, tone, and ad copy. Coca-Cola it is one of the most recognized brands in the world because they haven’t changed in decades. Make sure your brochures, website, Direct mail, and all the other advertising have the same feel and message.
3)
Make your message relevant: know your audience, know what they care about and how to speak to them. Make sure what you sell is what they need. Remember the conversation should always be about your audience, not you.
4)
Use a strong offer to motivate: you want your audience to remember you and you want its members to buy from you. You need to move them to action. A strong offer should give them a reason to buy. Make the offer clear and appropriate for your brand.
Every time a customer comes in contact with your brand, they will have either a positive or a negative experience. Those experiences will add to their perception of your brand. Those experiences are recalled later when it’s time to make a purchasing decision. How do you want your brand to be remembered when the time comes for a prospect to buy? You need to start building that positive perception today and do whatever is necessary to maintain it. Brand Strategy & Equity Your image procedure is the means by which, what, where, when and to whom you anticipate imparting and conveying on your image messages. Where you promote is a piece of your image procedure. Your circulation channels are likewise piece of your image method. What's more, what you impart outwardly and verbally are a piece of your image system, as well. Reliable, vital marking prompts an in number brand value, which implies the added quality conveyed to your organization's items or administrations that permits you to charge more for your image than what indistinguishable, unbranded items order. The most clear sample of this is Coke versus a bland pop. Since Coca-Cola has assembled an effective brand value, it can charge more for its item -and clients will pay that higher cost. The added quality characteristic for brand value as often as possible comes as saw quality or enthusiastic connection. For instance, Nike partners its items with star competitors, trusting clients will exchange their enthusiastic connection from the competitor to the item. For Nike, its not simply the shoe's elements that offer the shoe. Characterizing Your Brand Characterizing your image is similar to a trip of business self-revelation. It can be troublesome, drawn out and uncomfortable. It requires, at any rate, that you answer the inquiries beneath: What is your organization's main goal? What are the advantages and components of your items or administrations? What do your clients and prospects as of now think about your organization? What qualities do you need them to take up with your organization? Do your examination. Take in the needs, propensities and wishes of your present and forthcoming clients. Furthermore, don't depend on what you think they think. Comprehend what they think. Since characterizing your image and building up a brand method can be mind boggling, consider utilizing the ability of a not-for-profit little business consultative gathering or a Small Business Development Center . Once you've characterized your image, how would you get the word out? Here are a couple of straightforward, time-tried tips: Get an incredible logo. Place it all over. Record your image informing. What are the key messages you need to impart about your image? Each worker ought to be mindful of your image traits. Coordinate your image. Marking reaches out to each part of your business- -how you answer your telephones, what you or your salesmen wear on deals calls, your email signature, everything. Make a "voice" for your organization that mirrors your image. This voice ought to be connected to all composed correspondence and joined in the visual symbolism of all materials, online and off. Is your image inviting? Be conversational. Is it luxurious? Be more formal. You get the essence. Add to a slogan. Compose a vital, important and compact articulation that catches the embodiment of your image. Outline formats and make brand norms for your showcasing materials. Utilize the same shading plan, logo situation, look and feel all through. You don't should be favor, simply reliable. Be consistent with your image. Clients won't come back to you- -or allude you to another person -on the off chance that you don't convey on your image guarantee. Be reliable. I set this point last simply because it includes the majority of the above and is the most essential tip I can give you. "I am an AUTHOR" - Is this the next big fad?

Write an article, get the traffic. Well sort of! Since the birth of writing articles, our industry has caught on to the phenomena of increasing your website’s traffic by becoming the professional in your field. The only problem with this is that for every serious professional in one field, there are a thousand other writers who are jumping on the "band wagon". Article Body: Write an article, get the traffic. Well sort of! Since the birth of writing articles, our industry has caught on to the phenomena of increasing your website’s traffic by becoming the professional in your field. The only problem with this is that for every serious professional in one field, there are a thousand other writers who are jumping on the "band wagon". This article phenomenon is hurting every industry! From bloggers, column writers, and e-books, the writing industry is yearning for more great writers. The internet marketing community is especially hurting for better content. With the birth of SEO (search engine optimization), people all over the world are searching, browsing, and reading everything they can on how to promote their business on the internet. Because of this demand for different content, the supply of writers are increasing everyday but the quality of articles is decreasing exponentially. Everyone is writing about the exact same thing! My company receives on average 10-20 articles per hour submitted to us. I would have to say that only 1 in about 100 articles submitted are ever published within our website. Those numbers are extremely low and for good reason. It's all about "substance" - or lack of it! Many articles we review are nothing more than simple "babble" and most of them are pointless. You can seriously tell right away whether the article is just a promotional piece or something with actual substance within the content. Great content is very important. There is a misconception out there that most people won't read your content and you can pretty much post anything you want within your website as long as your website is clean, professional looking, and can be found online. YOU ARE SOOOOO WRONG! website content development If there is one constant online, it's the fact that the general public is getting smarter and more knowledgeable on how to research for honest, reputable companies on the internet. Unfortunately, authors these days are simply stealing from other great authors! I am not talking about posting someone else's article on your website! Copying content from other leaders in your industry will only hurt your company. This is why the writing industry is getting worse; many writers out there simply select a topic they want to write about, then they go online and find 5 articles on that topic. Once they have some other great articles, they simply proceed to combine each article for themselves, by personalizing the content a little. Do you ever wonder why for specific topics within your industry, you can find hundreds of authors that wrote almost the exact same thing? I call these people "Content Copiers". Even worse are people who buy articles to post online ! ! ! This gets me every time. Did you know that you can now hire a company to write something for you and insert your company information as the source and author of the article? This strategy is seriously sad considering I can almost guarantee you that the article you just bought was also sold to a handful of other companies. All they do is tweak the article a little bit and insert a different title. No one knows your business more than you do. If you are seriously good at what you do, 9 times out of 10, you probably have enough knowledge to write an article that makes sense, that is unique in content, and that has your personal touch. We've all come across different situations while operating our businesses. These small but important situations are what gives us confidence in what we do. When you learn from your mistakes, you should also consider educating people on what you've learned in order to help your potential clients or even help better educate your industry. Think beyond yourself and write down something helpful. I hope you've enjoyed this article! Simple Steps To Great Free Advertising

Summary: Advertising a product, service, or any undertaking, such as a website for example, has always been a pain in the wallet. Here are four simple steps to great free advertising. Advertising a product, service, or any undertaking, such as a website for example, has always been a pain in the wallet. I have been a follower of the free advertising mode, incidentally. 1. The first strategy is to advertise in free but well-visited web sites. 2. Increase your visibility on search engines: Insert keywords that describe your business into the HTML < META > tags on your Web site pages. Repeat these keywords in the text of your Web site’s homepage. Strategic use of keywords can put your business name at the top of customers’ search results. For more information, see our article “Optimizing Your Site for Search Engines and Directories”. 3. Put your URL on everything: Maximize your advertising efforts by listing your Web site address on everything you do. Print the URL on your company’s letterhead, on your business cards, on the front of your building or the door to your office suite. Use the URL in your e-mail signature. List the URL on any print advertising that you do, including phone books, brochures, flyers, and direct mail pieces. 4.Submit your site to every directory, specialty listing, industry organization, and yellow pages you can find: No matter what industry your business is in, there are online directories, such as Yahoo! Yellow Pages, that you should register with. Many business and industry associations allow you to list your business on their Web site. In addition, there are individuals who maintain popular lists of resources; use Web search engines to find these lists, and then create an entry for your business. 5. Channel the energy of your most enthusiastic staff and encourage them to promote your company’s product as they surf the Web. 6. Blogs: A Weblog, or blog, is a collection of short articles, essays, or loosely-formatted thoughts, usually written by one individual. Since the 2004 U.S. presidential election, blogs have become extremely popular as both a medium to get your message out and a vehicle for paid advertising. Blogs also encourage reader comments, making them a valuable tool for gathering customer feedback. Companies such as Blogger (www.blogger.com) will host your blog for free. You can also install a blog on your own Web site 7. Podcasting: Podcasts are audio files recorded in a radio talk show format. By posting podcasts on your Web site and other sites like Apple’s iTunes (www.itunes.com), customers can subscribe to your podcasts, download them as soon as they are available, and then listen to them on their computers or portable MP3 devices. The software to create podcasts is free; for more information visit www.podcastingnews.com. 8. Join online communities: No matter what the topic, there are thousands of people discussing it passionately on the Internet. By contributing to these discussion groups, you can inform your customers and advertise your business.. These will not all work for your business some are pretty simple steps, but sometimes we forget the simple steps with trying to keep up with the new stuff.
